About

Dr Rose Logan

Clinical Psychologist · HCPC & DHA

Careful, compassionate psychology

Dr Rose Logan is a clinical psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom and licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). She founded Alba Psychology & Perinatal Mental Health after 16 years of private practice in the Middle East, to offer specialist psychological care to adults and parents in the UK, across the Middle East and internationally.

Her clinical career spans NHS and private healthcare settings, with a particular focus on perinatal mental health — the emotional wellbeing of people through fertility, pregnancy, birth and the early years of parenthood. She has worked alongside maternity teams, neonatal services and multidisciplinary colleagues, and brings the depth of this experience into every consultation.

Rose believes therapy should feel safe, containing and unhurried. Sessions begin with a thorough assessment and a shared psychological formulation, so that the work ahead makes sense to you. From there, therapy is tailored — drawing on several evidence-based models rather than forcing one approach.

Having worked with international and expatriate communities, she is attentive to the cultural, family and practical realities that shape how distress is experienced and expressed. All sessions are held securely online, with times arranged across UK and Gulf time zones.
